Introducing Clara

Friday 5th January took an unusual turn in the evening, after what seemed like a very normal day. When we arrived at the bar, a lovely young cat was miaowing at us as we entered. In truth I had seen her there two days beforehand. She had apparently turned up, very hungry, a few days earlier, and Anto' had been feeding her - obviously she was not getting enough to eat at that stage. She was a 'free cat' as they are called (as in - roaming free but socialised) and probably from the brood up near the church, bearing very similar markings. So we agreed to take her in and see if she would settle down with us..
