Apparently all roads DO lead there...

Out running today - I ended up along the side of the Tiber river, in the flat valley floor. The road was so straight, and went on for miles. I chuckled to myself "I bet the Romans had a hand in building this one'... (an old trope...)

And lo and behold, at the end of this stretch, I came across this road sign which clearly confirmed it..when you consider that this is a tiny country lane, and:
Rome (pop. 4.23 million)
Casalina (pop. 406)
Ripabianca (pop. 488)
I guess all roads really DO lead there as well!
