It would not be unreasonable to suggest that the Italians are not renowned for their ability to queue...so the social distancing requirements at the supermarket have definitely pushed us all outside the 'comfort zone'.

In Marsciano, a bigger one, there's a much more formal system - crowd barriers, trolleys sanitised, face masks and gloves obligatory...
Up at the small supermarket at San Valentino, only 2-3 are let in at a time. In the car park we are adopting the usual Italian approach - you have to find out who was last and then just watch them, as we adopt the 'corona-line-dance' formation. At least it is sunny!
