When the lockdown started, we were still allowed to run outside, as long as we stayed within our commune - which was not a huge issue, plenty of space. Alas the restrictions have been tightened - now we are only supposed to run in the vicinity of our house. It wasn't entirely clear what this meant, so we started adopting a loop on the two roads next to us. The farthest point was about 400m away.
It's a 1 km loop x 6, about 20m of climb per lap. Not so bad but tough as you have to start on a hill! 5 laps will feel like the Southampton Parkrun B course...
And then - running out one morning - I was stopped by the 'Vigili' and told that even this route was too much - 200m is the maximum. The revised route is now a simple 'up and down' on the back road. This is really going to get hard to stick to.

The new shortened trail..

I will finish by saying, though, that compared to those in apartments in cities - we've still got it very good. There is space, fresh air, the sun shines...
